The Drop Recorder is an easier way to keep a record of what monsters drop, you can record what a monster drops with a single click of a button and also see how many monsters you have killed in total.
To open/load a Drop Recorder all you have to do is click on the "+ Open/Close" link in the tools and info section of a monster guide, this should open up that monsters drop recorder. Clicking again will hide the recorder to make navigation easier.
The Drop Recorder is split into 3 columns - Item Name, Add/Subtract from quantity and Quantity. The Item Name column is a list of items that the specific monster drops, the add/subract from quantity column is a column full of buttons, clicking on either the "+" or the "-" button next to a specific item will cause the 'quantity' to go up or down by 1. So basically whatever the monster drops, you find the item name on the list and click the "+" button that is next to it. The "-" button is for reversing any mistakes you make such as accidently double clicking a button, or perhaps you're trying to get a certain number of an item, you could count down in reverse until you have as many as you want. The quantity column displays the total number of times each item has been dropped, this will change each time you click on a button, but if continuing on from a previous log, you can put any number you like into the text box and carry on an old log using the drop recorder.
At the bottom of the Drop Recorder you may have noticed in the item column there are a few text boxes labelled "other", these are in case the drop recorder doesn't have a complete full list of drops, you can enter any missing items name in that box to keep track of the drop.
If you do recieve a drop that is not listed please submit a correction in the submissions section of the forums.
You will also see the "Total" button, clicking this will display how many monsters in total you have killed by adding up all the values in the quantity column.
Want to use the Drop Recorder but one doesn't exist for the monster you are killing? - I have created a 'Blank' Drop Recorder for people to use while I am working on the guides/Drop Recorders. This is a normal Drop Recorder but instead of the items being pre-loaded into the Item name column you will have to type them in yourself.
Click Here for the blank Drop Recorder.
Warning: The Drop Recorder will not save your logs, it is up to you to transfer them from the Drop Recorder to your computer and visa versa, once you leave the monsters page all quantity values are reset to 0
